BLOCKTOOTH
WARD-7 SPECIAL REPORT. An unidentified mass has been sighted in a zebra crossing. It is roughly the size of a mailbox. Residents are advised that this will not last.
BLOCKTOOTH is a survivor-like seen from an isometric three-quarter view, played solo or in a 4-player online VS match. You start small enough to be stepped on and you grow by eating: parked hatchbacks, kiosks, lamp posts, then the shops, the midrises, the office blocks and finally the towers. Five SIZE ranks take you from street level to skyline, and every rank-up is a MASS BREACH — the camera pulls back, the city shrinks, and things that used to be scenery are now lunch.
Pick one of four titans, each with its own automatic attack, a signature ability on SPACE and a dash on SHIFT:
- MOLO, the smash tank — a squat jade monitor that inhales everything in reach.
- VOLT-KITE, the chain assassin — lightning that forks between targets and live wires left on the pavement.
- HEARTHBACK, the eruption fortress — a walking caldera that stores the damage it takes and vents it back.
- BRIARWICK, area control — a horned garden-beast that turns rubble into seed-spitting turrets.
Level up and a three-card MUTATION REPORT opens: 158 upgrades in total, including titan-locked cards and legendary mutations, with a reroll when the hand is wrong. Three cities to flatten: GRID-EAST (daytime commercial blocks), WHITE STACKS (a snowed-in industrial park) and LOCKWATER (a flooded container port at night).
HALVARD CIVIL DEFENSE answers with androids, drones, buggies, APCs, tanks and artillery walkers, then an elite breach-dozer, and at the end a boss: CAISSON-4, a four-legged harbour crane rig built for exactly one job, or IRON GULLY, a snow-clearance walker the size of a tower that ploughs, sprays brine and stamps. Their heavy hits — rockets, tank shells, mortar shells, the breach-dozer's charge and every boss attack — are painted on the ground before they land: step out of the paint or dash through it.
ZONING DISPUTE — 4-PLAYER VS. Four titans, one city, ten minutes. OPEN HOUSE: everybody grows and the rivals can only shove. HOSTILE TAKEOVER: knock-outs are live, a knocked-out titan loses levels and is back in five seconds, and whoever leads wears the FRONT PAGE crown (everyone else gets a bounty on it). FINAL NOTICE: no respawns, a CONDEMNATION ORDER ring closes in, and the last titan standing wins. The three gatekeepers become shared PUBLIC TENDERS, level-ups open a CARD RAIL that never pauses the match, and a match always has four titans. Find players with QUICK MATCH or a 4-letter room code, or warm up offline in VS PRACTICE at three difficulty levels. Desktop only.
A run lasts about 20 minutes and ends on the front page of THE WARD SEVEN WITNESS. Play signed in on forgeflowgames.com and every finished run, VS result, record and achievement is saved to your account (VS wins count on the board when at least two signed-in players report the same winner). The city gets smaller either way.
No gore: whatever gets stepped on puffs into dust, bolts and springs. Keyboard or gamepad.
